## 1.28.1

- Clarify party reports: pull duration, your XP earned and XP-granting kills instead of implying all enemies in the encounter were counted.
- Record your death during a pull, show it in pull details, and append "I died" to its party report. This does not claim a party wipe; old pulls are not retroactively labeled.
- Preserve XP-granting kill counts after detailed history is trimmed and use saved attribution when reporting older pulls.

## 1.28.0

- Share a completed pull to party chat with **Share to party** in its detail view. `/txp share` reports the latest completed pull, including while another pull is in progress.
- Reports contain one line with your earned XP, tracked mob count and duration. Sharing is manual, requires a party, and never sends to raid or public chat. No damage-meter data or automatic reports.
- Support modern Forever and legacy TBC chat APIs.

## 1.27.0

Focus pass: the same look with less to read. Everything is still one click or one hover away.

- Details tabs now run Session, Quests, Training, Town. The duplicate red Close button is gone; use × or Escape.
- Tracker redesign: a readable gold title, larger level and percent, a thicker XP bar, and time to level as the headline ("36 min to level 22") with XP/h beside it. Below a divider, quests, the most urgent Town errand and the last pull use the same row style as Town (icon, label, value, ›). Rows appear only when they have something to show, and the tracker grows or shrinks from its top edge. Rested XP is a clear blue strip along the bottom of the bar. Rows use a colored stripe like the Town tab. Mail shows how many letters are waiting.
- Resizing the tracker changes its width only; text keeps one size and the height follows the content. Use Tracker scale (now up to 1.6) to make everything larger. A tracker widened for bigger text returns to the normal width once.
- Tracker header matches the Details window: title plate on the top border, framed Details tab, red close button. Help and Settings moved to the Details window's top-left corner. With a quest plan, the quest row's stripe becomes a yellow/cyan switch (ready/plan) that also explains the bar colours. The last-pull row is highlighted only during a live pull, and a single kill reads "1 mob".
- Quests: click a quest to open it in WoW's quest log (right-click in Plan). Rows without a known turn-in location are one line. Individual rewards are neutral; the total keeps the preview colour. "Shown on your XP bar" replaces the disabled button.
- Training: Later, Missing requirements, Other sources and Ignored fold under clickable headers that show their count and total. The summary reads "3 spells to train now" or "Nothing to train now · next training at level 22". Training alerts is quiet text instead of a red button.
- Town note tasks are clickable: Training opens the Training tab, Bag space opens your bags, Repair gear opens your character sheet (hover lists damaged items, worst first), professions open their next-rank details.
- Minimap button sits on the minimap's edge at any size (Forever's minimap is larger) and on square minimaps; it follows the minimap when it resizes.
- Your best spots: the Session tab ranks places you pulled at your level by median XP/min (comparable pulls, at least 3 per place); hover for the top five.
- Kills to level and a rested timer in the XP bar tooltip: "~42 kills to level" at your recent XP per kill, and "Full rested in 2 d 6 h" while in a resting area.
- Hearthstone in Town: where it takes you and whether it is ready.
- Level-up summary in chat: pulls at the old level, spells to train with cost, quests ready (Settings → Notifications). It replaces the separate training alert while on.
- Turn in before you level: ready quests that will give less XP after your next level are listed first and flagged in Quests, the tracker tooltip and Town (quest XP drops to 80/60/40/20/10% once you are 6+ levels above a quest).
- Quest log space: the Quests tab shows "Quest log 18/20" (amber when nearly full, red when full) and counts gray quests, which are dimmed and marked "gray, little XP" in Plan quests.
- Town note: reopen it after closing with **Show town note** in the Town tab (while in an inn or city) or `/txp note`.
- Town: sections for tasks, All good and Professions. The intro counts the errands left. Captions moved to tooltips. The training budget is hidden when there is nothing to buy.
- Mail and training budget rows match the other Town rows. New mail after an empty saved inbox reads "New mail since your last mailbox visit" instead of "0 letters".
- Settings are grouped under Tracker, Details window, Notifications and Pull recording, with shorter labels.

## 1.26.1

- Improve completed quest rows with native completion icons, larger titles and rewards, readable wrapped turn-in instructions, and clearer row separation.
- Remove the unsupported arrow glyph. Unknown destinations now show Ready to turn in, with the explanation in the tooltip.
- Replace repetitive preview instructions with conditional reward notes and reduce the space above the quest list.

## 1.26.0

- Add a combined training budget in Town, with clickable class-spell and profession-rank cost breakdowns.
- Compare known estimated costs with current gold, showing shortfalls and unknown costs separately.
- Update on gold, spell and profession changes; exclude ignored/future/blocked spells and ineligible profession ranks.

## 1.25.1

- Refine existing quest projections to show level and percentage after turn-ins in quest details and XP-bar tooltips.
- Handle multiple levels, per-client curves and caps, and unknown rewards; keep the overflow fallback when live XP requirements differ.

## 1.25.0

- Add Mail to Town and the arrival note, with clickable sender/subject/attachment details after opening a mailbox.
- Keep collectible gold and COD charges separate, highlight pending mail expiring within 24 hours, and label saved contents with the last check time.
- Complete mail tasks only after unread letters and attachments are cleared; preserve data through partial or failed loads. Mail access is read-only.

## 1.24.0

- Add a movable Town sticky note that opens in resting areas with actionable tasks and retains automatic checkmarks throughout the visit.
- Hide during combat or on departure, remember position and per-visit dismissal, and provide a direct Details link.
- Add an opt-out setting; exclude unverified local quest turn-ins and locked profession upgrades.

## 1.23.0

- Add automatic Town task completion: confirmed cleared warnings show a temporary checkmark, then move to All good.
- Show Ready to head out when repair, bag, class training and eligible profession warnings are clear; waiting quests and locked ranks do not block readiness.
- Keep unknown data from falsely completing tasks or declaring readiness.

## 1.22.1

- Add a compact settings icon between Help and Close on the main tracker, opening ThadXP options directly.

## 1.22.0

- Simplify the tracker into progress, compact pace/ETA, quest preview and one prioritized Town action; move exact rested text into the existing tooltip.
- Make live/latest pull metrics optional through the farming tracker setting, keeping Session history and recording.
- Increase tracker background opacity for readability, retaining the opacity setting.
- Prioritize critical durability at 25% or below in red; integrate near-cap professions into the Town task order and compress healthy rows.
- Enlarge profession detail text, group requirements/cost/location, fit expansions to content, and move reference caveats to tooltips.

# Changelog

## 1.21.0

- Added learned primary and secondary professions to Town. Compact rows show current skill/cap; skills within ten points of the cap are amber and appear first. Final supported ranks are distinguished from upgrade caps.
- Clicking a profession expands next-rank requirements, estimated cost, and faction-appropriate trainer, book vendor or quest destinations inside Town. No tracker controls or pop-ups added.
- Added separate Forever and TBC rank guidance, including First Aid books/quests and TBC Outland ranks. Unknown requirements/prices and unverified beta guidance remain explicit.
- Added live skill-event updates, modern profession reads, legacy localized-skill fallback with collapsed-header restoration, and profession model/UI regressions for both clients.

## 1.20.2

- Isolated optional turn-in destination lookups from completed-quest counts and XP totals, so missing or unexpected location data cannot interrupt the ready preview.
- Preserved explicit quest-log readiness when secondary completion APIs are unavailable, and normalized numeric completion/failure flags.

## 1.20.1

- Simplified the tracker training link to the available spell count; when none are available, it shows the next actual training level. Clicking opens All training.
- Replaced repeated ready-status labels in completed quest rows with muted turn-in instructions. Full text stays in the tooltip; unknown destinations are explicit. Native data is preferred, with optional Questie NPC/object fallback on Classic clients only.

## 1.20.0

This release brings the installed addon back into the shared repository after the earlier 1.9.12 checkout. It includes the locally developed leveling features below, alongside installation documentation, manifest-driven packaging/deployment, and automated checks.

### Leveling companion

- Training view with ranks, requirements, estimated prices, ignores, and optional training alerts.
- Forever trainer/quest data refreshed to What's Training? 11.0.0-beta20; TBC/Era class tables verified against stable 10.1.0.
- Exact-next-level spell preview with a compact tracker summary, hover breakdown, and a Next level filter in Training.
- Completed-quest XP breakdown and ready-to-turn-in bar preview.
- Quest planning by individual quest or zone/dungeon group, with saved per-character selections.
- Small Ready/Plan control identifies the active preview. Browsing quest details does not change the bar.
- Translucent rested-XP coverage on the same bar, with a visible endpoint and full-pool amount.
- Town checklist for available training, ready quests, general bag space, and lowest equipped-item durability.

### Tracker and sessions

- Compact tracker and an independently movable/resizable detail window.
- One Details button for Training, Session, Quests, and Town; remembers the last section.
- Session XP and pace include quest/exploration XP while pull statistics remain scoped to pulls.
- Pull history, per-pull detail, pace comparisons, session goals, loot summaries, and archived sessions.
- Client-specific compatibility handling, including restricted combat APIs on Forever.

### Repository

- Installable `ThadXP-1.20.0.zip`, user guide, project origin story, contribution guide, and development instructions.
- Lua 5.1 syntax and model/interface checks in GitHub Actions.
- Deployment includes all modules, media, training datasets, and source/license notices in both clients.

## Earlier repository history

The existing commits are preserved: shared TBC/Forever foundation, improved progress tooltip, modern/legacy goal-popup fixes, and pull-history layout refinements. The detailed local development milestones are retained in [README.txt](README.txt).
